Raw Cacao has many health benefits, including being one of the highest dietary sources of magnesium, a vital mineral that the majority of modern societies diet is vastly lacking. Magnesium is a muscle relaxant which benefits the cardiovascular system. Low levels of magnesium can cause painful muscle cramps. Raw cacao is also really high in antioxidants which help the body stay healthy. So if you needed an excuse to feel good about eating this... feel better:)
